Light up your weekend with family and friends at our two-night Surprise Party! Enjoy a variety of festive activities and entertainment, including a winter snow party, a captivating drone show, glowing hot air balloons, skydivers and a special performance. Savor delicious treats from food trucks, browse our vibrant vendor village and let the kids have fun in the kid zone. Be sure to visit Santa’s Workshop for photos with Santa and gather around for Storytime at the Surprise Library. With so much in store, it’s sure to be a weekend full of holiday magic and fun for all ages!

For the safety of those attending City of Surprise holiday events near the Surprise Recreation Campus, Bullard Avenue will be closed between Paradise and Tierra Buena lanes 24 hours a day from 6 a.m. December 4, through December 31. The south Surprise Regional Library parking lot will also be closed during this time.

Alternate routes:

From Bell Road heading south on Bullard Avenue, traffic will be detoured east on Paradise Lane, around the curve to travel west on Tierra Buena Lane.
From Greenway Road heading north on Bullard Avenue, traffic will be detoured east on Tierra Buena Lane, around the curve to travel west on Paradise Lane.
The Surprise Stadium parking lot is limited to access from Paradise Lane to Buck O’Neil Way.

Friday, December 6 • 5 - 9 p.m.

The holiday fun begins at 5 p.m. with a DJ, family-friendly activities and festive roaming entertainment to get everyone in the spirit! Don’t miss a special, surprise performance, adding even more magic to the evening.

Then, at 6:30 p.m., gather with Mayor and Council for the grand Tree Lighting Ceremony! The excitement continues with a thrilling skydiving show by the Arizona Skyhawks, followed by a spectacular fireworks display lighting up the night sky to end the night.

Saturday, December 7 • 5 - 9 p.m.

Prepare to be amazed by two captivating drone shows, where a fleet of 200 drones lights up the sky with dazzling, holiday-inspired animations set to music! The evening also features a breathtaking hot air balloon glow, live ice sculpting, real snow to play in and yummy s’mores to enjoy. It’s a magical night you won’t want to miss!
